Course Aim

The below Forklift courses will ensure the trainee will have the knowledge, skills and attributes for all essential areas of the units of competency covered in the forklift course undertaken. 
 

Refresher in line with NZQA Unit Standards:

Forklift Operator Certificate Refresher:  US 10851   Operate a powered industrial lift truck.   
 

Forklift Operator Certificate Refresher + F Endorsement: 
US 10851   Operate a powered industrial lift truck.
US 18496   Demonstrate knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road.
 

F Endorsement only: 
US 18496   Demonstrate knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road.
 

Course Duration

4 hours

Entry Requirements: 

Forklift Operator Certificate Refresher: Candidate must hold US 10851 on their NZQA Record of Acheivement or provide evidence of previous certification.

F Endorsement: Persons seeking credit for this unit standard to obtain an F (forklift) driver licence endorsement must hold a current full class driver licence other than Class 6. 

A minimum of 20 hours experience operating a forklift is required or a good understanding of how to operate the forklift correctly and safely. 

Refresher course must be completed 3 years from date of training.less
