Course Aim

The below Forklift courses will ensure the trainee will have the knowledge, skills and attributes for all essential areas of the units of competency covered in the forklift course undertaken. 
 

NZQA Unit Standards

Forklift Operator Certificate:

US 10851      Operate a powered industrial lift truck.

 

Forklift Operator Certificate + F Endorsement: 

US 10851      Operate a powered industrial lift truck.

US 18496      Demonstrate Knowledge and skills for driving a forklift on a road for endorsemeent F (Forklifts)

 

Course Duration

1 day (6-8 hours)

 

Pre-Requisites

Unit standard 18496: Persons seeking credit for this unit standard to obtain an F (forklift) driver licence endorsement must hold a current full class driver licence other than Class 6. 


A minimum of 20 hours experience operating a forklift is required or a good understanding of how to operate the forklift correctly and safely. 


 

Refresher course must be completed 3 years from date of training.less
