Purpose

This course has been designed for people who require a basic understanding of the New Zealand Co-ordinated Incident Management (CIMS) framework. 

 

Course Objectives

On completion of this course you will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of:

  • CIMS principles and roles
  • CIMS structure and functions
  • the impact of situational awareness on an incident response.

32158    Demonstrate basic knowledge of New Zealand’s Coordinated Incident Management System

The on-line assessment is administered by Skills Organisation to ensure a consistent national standard.
